filming jim was unexpected. 

we knew this was coming but the shoot sprung out of opportunity, not scheduling. and that experience can be stressful for “content creators”. but we approach everything as writers with an appreciation for nature photography. the patience required to capture a moment. the willingness to sit in silence and let everything unfold and find the story in the edit. we love these moments because intuition is all we have.

the first fifth becomes paramount because we show up to every opportunity prepared to discover. all surprises should be pleasant ones. with that mindset, we can prepare ourselves to be in the right mindset to invite intuition when things don’t go according to plan.

this short film transformed dr. vinay’s business because it was in this spontaneous burst of creation that we discovered that what differentiates him from every other hair restoration surgeon is his approach. he works like a visual artist who happens to work with hair.
