through my work with presentation partners, i’ve been working with accenture since 2020.
initially, just as a writer of decks. but that relationship quickly grew. soon i was teaching and facilitating across the country.
then came the bigger pursuits where i not only wrote a deck, but a story about the sales pursuit and made short films to accompany each pursuit. it was in these stories that i not only trained the accenture team on how to deliver these stories, but i also began to stretch my mind as to what was possible when i refused to use stock footage and stock music.
each pursuit turned into a chance for me to spend a day ahead of time shooting video, learning about the local cultures and traditions, and finding where i might utilize them in the broader pursuit.
two of these pieces stand out to me because of the nature of the shoot. one is hawai’i, where not only was the location a character, but there were so many stakeholders and partners in this pursuit. i would have to weave in multiple viewpoints - often contradictory in nature - and find the harmony between them all. and turn that harmony into a melody that would serve as a storyline that unified all their causes to benefit the state.
and on top of that, turn that into a compelling short film that showcased all the players demonstrating their knowledge of the state and their passion to bring positive change.
